Fotomac report Fenerbahçe are prepared to sell their star defender Simon Kjaer in the summer window. The Yellow Canaries are looking to rebuild their ageing squad, and they are hoping the sale of the Denmark captain could provide the funds they need.

Fenerbahce are looking for €12m for Kjaer, and it’s been reported he’s getting attention from the likes Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter and A.C Milan. Both Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp will be looking to add to their squads in the next window, and the central defender is an option.

The Denmark international is not pushing for an exit at the moment but a move is certainly considered possible.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea look on course for Champions League football, and could offer the Dane this. Chelsea boss Conte allegedly showed a keen interest in Kjaer during the winter transfer window, but the West London side couldn’t come to an agreement with his club.

Kjaer signed for €7.65m from Lille two years ago and he has been ever present for Fenerbahçe since he came in.

The former Roma player is contracted with the Turkish giants until 2019, and if a potential Liverpool and Chelsea battle is true, it could be good news for Fenerbahçe’s hopes of a good transfer fee.
