Another day, another Emre Can story, and the more this goes on, the more worried Juventus get about failing to sign the Liverpool midfielder.

Having covered this story since day one, it’s been a steady decline from “YES WE CAN” to the “Emre Can is resisting” headline Corriere dello Sport gave us over the weekend.

The article comes off the back of Beppe Marotta’s comments, claiming the Serie A side were still waiting on the Liverpool midfielder’s answer, having offered him a four-year deal worth €5m/year.

The Germany international has made it clear that all he wants to do for now is focus on what’s going on at Anfield, which is the fight for second in the Premier League and the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City.

That’s all well and good, but the longer he waits, the more impatient Juventus get.

With other clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich reportedly circling, the Italians could quickly get disillusioned by his lack of commitment, despite an initial agreement to the terms presented by Beppe Marotta and co.

The CEO has already discussed potentially moving onto other targets, so it’s getting close to now or never for Can.
