As was reported by Gianluca di Marzio earlier on Wednesday, a transfer to Fulham for Justin Kluivert is not completely over yet.

Despite many reports claiming that the deal was now off, the Italian media have remained optimistic that a move could still happen, with Rudy Galetti providing the latest.

He, much like Calciomercato earlier on, explains that Fulham are ‘working with the FA’ to try and sort out the work permit issue and ‘unlock the transfer’ of the Dutchman.

The reason behind this is that ‘some aspects of the post-Brexit regulations would be unclear’ and, with the help of some lawyers, Fulham are ‘trying to find a solution’.

In fact, ‘an answer from the FA is expected soon’, which should give us an idea of whether or not Kluivert will be able to leave Roma and be a part of Marco Silva’s squad going forward.

This shows just how badly Fulham want the forward, who has been the subject of negotiations between the two sides for a number of weeks, with an agreement finally being reached for a loan with an obligation to buy at €9.5m.

Now, we simply must wait.
