Even though Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz remains being a big target for Brazilian clubs, there’s clearly some difficulty to take him away from Craven Cottage.

Goal Brasil today features a story claiming that Atletico Mineiro remain interested in the player, but see that pursuit as a tough mission for now.

As Fulham’s request for the sale is said to be of €8m, the amount is seen as ‘unfeasible’ by the Galo.

Atletico Mineiro are said to be trying to convince the Whites to ‘reduce their request’, and only then advance in the talks.

Muniz only has eight appearances for Fulham this season, with one goal scored, and is clearly not among Marco Silva’s first choices for the attack.

That’s the reason why a few Brazilian clubs got interested in his signing lately, but none of them have shown to be strong enough to match the Whites’ request.

So it seems it’s down to Fulham whether to reduce the demands and let the player go next month, or leave that particular business until the end of the season.
