A couple of sources in the Italian media today share some updates on Fulham’s pursuit of AC Milan fullback Fodé Ballo-Touré.

A very optimistic one comes from Sky Sport, relayed by Napoli Magazine, claiming there’s a deal for the move, but that’s not all.

It’s said that Fulham already have an agreement with Milan for the permanent transfer, and the negotiations continue with the player’s agent.

It seems that convincing the player is indeed the hardest task the Whites currently have, and that’s also said on Sport Italia.

The website today features some quotes from journalist Alfredo Pedulla. There, he explains that Touré is still to make up his mind regarding the move to Fulham.

“He hasn’t yet dissolved the last reserves in the direction of Fulham. He also has other offers.”

The word in the Italian media has been that Touré can choose between Fulham and Bologna, and the possibility of continuing to live in Italy is what attracts him to the latter option.

Milan had reportedly made a €4m request to sell the fullback, and the Craven Cottage side had no problem in matching that. Bologna shouldn’t have that difficulty either, so it’s all in the player’s hands.
