Despite the insistence of Tosin Adarabioyo, the defender isn’t any closer from getting his exit from Fulham if the latest news from France is to be believed.

The centre-back has been pushing to leave Marco Silva’s side all summer, and AS Monaco, his favoured destination, have been trying to sign him.

RMC Sport reveal that while the principality side made an offer of €10m + bonuses a few weeks ago, and they haven’t upped it since.

Down their end, Fulham are ‘still asking’ for €15m, meaning that Monaco are still some way off the demands from the Craven Cottage side.

That’s why RMC Sport add that the tactic of waiting until the very last moment from the Ligue 1 side ‘could fail’, meaning they would be left without their centre-back reinforcement.

As for Adarabioyo, his contract with Fulham expires at the end of the season, suggesting that it would be in his club’s best interest to accept a bid for him or risk losing him on a free next summer.

A stalemate that many will hope will be resolved before the transfer window shuts, including the player, who doesn’t appear to have any interest in staying at Craven Cottage for the current campaign.
