Fulham seem to be having a really hard time convincing Fode Ballo-Touré to join the club this summer.

Earlier today, we covered claims from the Italian media which said that despite the Whites’ difficulty, the talks with his agents are still on.

However, as Calciomercato now features a story about the situation, they explain why there’s a ‘stalemate’ for this transfer.

It’s once again said that Fulham already have a deal with Milan for the move. That’s for a permanent transfer, unlike Bologna, who push for a loan with a right to buy.

The problem is that Ballo-Touré ‘would prefer’ to stay in Italy. That’s why he’s currently ‘denying himself’ to give the green light for the Whites’ move and prefers the switch to the Serie A side.

Fulham apparently had no problem matching Milan’s €4m request for the player, and now see the deal being ‘blocked’ by 26-year-old’s personal wish.

In a time when players have been so attracted by the Premier League, Marco Silva’s side now find themselves in an awkward situation, and apparently patiently wait for the player to be convinced.
