There is a claim in the Italian media, Fulham are showing an interest in Genoa forward Gianluca Lapadula.

The Premier League newcomers have been busy in this transfer window as they look to consolidate their place in the top flight, but it seems they are still looking to add to their squad before next week’s deadline.

TMW report Fulham have made an approach for Lapadula and have asked for information on the Genoa player. It’s claimed if the Serie A club were to sell the forward in this transfer window he would cost Fulham in the region of €15m.

The Italian football outlet also report Besiktas have made an approach for Lapadula, but it’s unlikely they could purchase the Italian forward on a permanent deal given their financial situation.

Besiktas have been linked with a number of players this summer, but they’ve been mainly looking for loan deals.

Lapadula is contracted to Genoa until June 2021.
