Fulham are one of the sides interested in Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho this summer, should he leave the Spanish club.

That’s according to journalist Rudy Galetti, who says the Portuguese international could be available for €8-10m.

Fulham are keen to improve their squad after securing a return from the Championship last season, with Marco Silva likely to be backed after an impressive campaign that saw his side run away with the title.

And it appears he may be looking at adding a compatriot to his squad, with Galetti reporting Fulham are one of several sides looking at Carvalho.

He’s managed to revalue himself this past season with Betis, and that’s seen the interested parties line up, with Fenerbahce already making an offer.

They’re not the only ones keen, though, with Fulham and his former side Sporting Club de Portugal also ‘following’ the midfielder as well.

That’s presumably because of his low price tag, with Carvalho available for €8-10m, a potential bargain given his experience in Spain, Belgium and for Portugal at international level as well.
