Frenkie de Jong filmed at Barcelona airport – Flying to London amid Man United and Chelsea rumours

Manchester United have been linked with Frenkie de Jong for much of the summer window, with Erik ten Hag seeing him as a priority signing for the club’s midfield.

For months, Barcelona have been edging the player to the exit, insisting that he either takes a huge pay cut, to help the Blaugrana’s difficult accounts, or leaves the club before the window closes.

Manchester United have been the side linked the most, but it’s been repeatedly stated the Netherlands international doesn’t fancy a move to Old Trafford because the club didn’t qualify for the Champions League.

Chelsea have also been dragged into the picture, and now El Chiringuito say they’ve filmed the player travelling to London. A flight to the English capital may suggest a Chelsea move is likelier, but then Manchester United also have offices in London.

Liverpool have also been linked, and there’s the chance he’s simply using a couple of days off for a break.

De Jong was pictured with his girlfriend, with El Chiringuito calling the development a ‘bomb’ of the market.
