Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vincente Guaita has interest from Valencia this summer after requesting to leave Selhurst Park.

That’s according to El Desmarque, who say the Spanish club had already put the veteran on their wish list months ago and remain keen on him now.

They’re yet to make a formal offer for the player or start negotiations with Crystal Palace but ‘everything points to it’ happening at some point.

In fact, the goalkeeper’s entourage ‘believes’ as much and they know that Guaita would be willing to return to his former club if they give it the green light. Valencia won’t move until they’ve sold Giorgi Mamardashvili, though.

They’re not the only Spanish team interested in Guaita, with Getafe also thinking about the player, who played for them from 2014 to 2018.

Celta Vigo have also ‘underlined’ the Crystal Palace goalkeeper as a possible option as they seek their own reinforcement in that area of the squad.

Their interest was already detailed yesterday by local newspaper Faro de Vigo and El Desmarque now back it up and say they’re firmly in the mix too.
