With Everton currently linked to Sevilla winger Adnan Januzaj, the local media in Spain has something to say about that.

Outlet VamosMiSevilla today shares a story where they point out that even though club manager José Luis Mendilibar wants to get the most out of the player, that hasn’t been happening this season.

Januzaj hasn’t played a single minute for Sevilla since the summer, and was only taken to the bench for their last two games in La Liga.

That’s why, according to their report, an attempt from Everton would actually be a ‘real miracle’ for the La Liga side, as they could very much use a good offer from the Toffees.

The story recalls that last summer, since Sevilla didn’t manage to sell Januzaj, they chose to keep him in the squad.

That means that in case Everton really want him, the least they can do is to make an offer for a loan where they cover his wages in that period.

Famous for his big start at Manchester United ten years ago, Januzaj is now 28, and may well fancy a Premier League return.

However, that Sevilla would be so pleased with an Everton effort isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement.
