Arsenal’s chase for the Roma star Cengiz Under is highlighted by Italian website Calcio Mercato this week.

The outlet claims that the Gunners have been interested in the player since January, and have conducted a scouting mission this month.

This operation has been handled by the club’s board, with Unai Emery’s blessing. The London side reportedly made a list of players who could be their summer targets, and Under is one of the ‘most promising wingers’.

From Roma’s standpoint, Under is only leaving for a very good offer. Calcio Mercato says the club expect him to ‘explode’ for them only next season, so for now, they are only letting him go for an indecent offer.

Under has six goals and nine assists in 25 appearances this season. He’s been struggling with a muscular injury recently, and in case he doesn’t get fully fit until the end of the season, that should certainly affect his market price.
