Sevilla director of football Monchi has already set his eyes on Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombele.

That’s according to Fichajes.net, who explain the 24-year-old is the ‘new desire’ for the La Liga side’s chief.

Nuno Espírito Santo left the midfielder out of his squad from Spurs’ fixtures in August and he only featured after the summer window closed. Since then, he has made seven starts in all competitions, including five in the league.

The website states the player has ‘range of technical resources’, including ability to shoot from outside the opposition box. For these reasons and his ‘important physical displays’, Julen Lopetegui and his side have been ‘interested in getting his services’.

Fichajes.net explain the Frenchman has found it difficult to adapt in the Premier League and he would ‘like La Liga very well’, meaning the Tottenham player would be a ‘very good’ signing for Sevilla.

Ndombele is at his best since he arrived in the English capital and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy knows it is an ‘important moment’ to sell him.

Tottenham would want to recover part of the investment on his transfer and his current asking price is between €35m and €40m.

Indeed, Monchi, Lopetegui and Sevilla are all interested in Ndombele, but what remains to be seen is whether the latter are ready to pay around €35-40m to convince Levy.
