Takvim claim Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu wants to see Stoke City defender Bruno Martins Indi in his team next season.

Fenerbahce yesterday confirmed the signing of Andre Ayew from Swansea City on a loan deal, and Takvim report the Turkish club have now switched their attention to Martins Indi.

It’s reported Cocu wants to work with his compatriot and the Turkish club have made a loan offer, with a right of redemption to sign the Stoke City player.

According to Takvim, the 26 year doesn’t want to stay at Stoke City following the club’s relegation from the Premier League and Fenerbahce are hoping to use this situation this to their advantage.

Fenerbahce only have two senior central defenders available at their disposal and Cocu has previously stated this summer that he needs both quality and quantity in this position.

Martins Indi made 19 appearances for Stoke City last season and is under contract with the Championship club until June 2022.
