Since his arrival at Tottenham, Lucas Moura has given a spate of interviews, most of which have been to the Brazilian press, and we’ve covered them all.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward appears to be delighted with his choice, leaving Ligue 1 after six very difficult months following the arrival of Neymar, and while he hasn’t been a regular starter yet, he’s shown enough to get fans excited.

Coming off the bench against Juventus in the 2-2 draw in the Champions League, Moura is now readying himself for the return leg, and gave an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport ahead of the clash.

Among other things, he once again talked up his new team.

He said: “The last six months (in Paris) were difficult. Now is not the time to speak of certain things, but what I will say is that I’m happy of the choice I made. Tottenham is a club projecting towards the future.

“There are players of international dimension like Kane, Eriksen, Alli and Son. There’s a young manager, ready and ambitious. And it’s a club with cutting edge infrastructures. In football, you don’t become better by chance. The projects are fundamental.”

If Mauricio Pochettino continues to ease Lucas Moura in, there will be little chance of him starting on Wednesday against Juventus, but you don’t spend £25m on a player if you don’t intend on using him.

The best is yet to come.
