Earlier this week, the Italian media mentioned Crystal Palace’s interest in Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.

It was claimed that the Eagles, just like other Premier League clubs, are interested in bringing the player back to England, and since his contract with the Bianconeri expires in 2025, that could be a advantageous situation for those who want him signed.

Iling-Junior’s situation at Juventus is today again a topic in the Italian press, with newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport having a say on his future.

Even though the outlet doesn’t mention Crystal Palace or any other English club, it mentions he will be heading for ‘destination Premier League’, claiming it’s ‘almost certain’ that the winger will go back to his home country in the summer.

Gazzetta points out that Iling-Junior hasn’t been able to impress at Juventus lately, and that’s the main reason for the Bianconeri to negotiate him now instead of risking to lose him for free in 2025.

It remains to be seen whether Crystal Palace will actually place a bid for his signing in the summer.

Right now, he’s valued by Transfermarkt at €12m, although it remains to be seen if that’s what Juventus will ask for.
