Despite not scoring for Fenerbahce since the 23rd of September, Tottenham Hotspur owned forward Vincent Janssen’s professionalism and dedication has been praised in the Turkish press.

The Dutchman is currently on loan with the Turkish side from Tottenham for the season.

Janssen, out of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans at Spurs, has managed to score just one goal from open play since arriving at Fenerbahce in the summer, which came against Alanyaspor on September 17th.

Despite starting 5 games in a row, the striker has been unable find the net, but Turkish media outlet Vatan say his professionalism is being praised by the Fenerbahce faithful and technical staff.

The Dutchman is also being praised for his hard work on the training ground and the way he conducts himself off the field, even though he’s failed to make a real impact in Istanbul.

Janssen’s move to Fenerbache was intended to kickstart his career after his struggles at Tottenham last season, but it seems this isn’t going to plan. The Netherlands international has scored just two goals in ten games for the Yellow Canaries, a similar situation to that he found himself in with Tottenham in the last campaign.

At least he’s the perfect professional, and all that hard work and right attitude will hopefully pay off soon.
