In January 2023, Jakub Kiwior arrived at the Emirates from Spezia Calcio and hasn’t managed to enjoyed regular game time at Arsenal just yet.

The Poland international has made 24 appearances and 16 of those came this season.

He’s been speaking to Poland’s Super Express to review his first year at Arsenal and discuss his country’s Euro 2024 play-off clash against Estonia in March.

When asked to assess his time so far at the north London club, he said: “I’m glad that I saw how such a large club works. And that I get another chance from the coach. Now I want to see more of these performances.”

Kiwior went on to explain what has changed in his life in the last 12 months.

“In a football context, I can say that training is at a higher level. I managed to score a goal in the Premier League, make my debut in the Champions League and establish myself in the national team,” Kiwior explained.

Due to his limited game time at Arsenal, Super Express suggested the 23-year-old needed more experience in Serie A before his move. However, the player has other views.

“I would definitely like to play more, but I don’t feel like I lack experience,” he added.

Recent claims from Italy have stated AC Milan and AS Roma are interested in signing Kiwior this month. The Arsenal defender was directly asked about the speculations linking him to the two Italian clubs.

Responding to that, the Pole said: “It’s definitely nice and I’m glad there’s interest in me. But I focus on what is now. Besides, there have been no talks with me yet.”
