Manchester City defender Jason Denayer, has spoken to the Turkish press about his future.

Denayer is currently on loan with Galatasaray from Manchester City.

Speaking to Beinsports the Manchester City loanee was quizzed about remaining in Turkey: “If an offer comes in from Galatasaray, why not I say.”

The Belgium international has rediscovered his form in the latter stages of the season, and now he’s one of the first names on Fatih Terim’s team sheet.

Earlier this week, we covered reports from Turkey that Galatasaray want to sign Denayer permanently and are ready to offer €3m to Manchester City. Terim has been impressed with the player and wants to see him in his team next season.

It’s unlikely Denayer is in the long term plans of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and subsequently he needs to move in the summer. Given his already had two loan spells with Galatasaray and permanent move to Istanbul would make sense.

But at €3m? That sounds a little cheap.
