Antef Tsoungui is on his way to the Netherlands, according to local reports.

Outlet 1908 writes that Feyenoord have reached an agreement to sign the 20-year-old.

Tsoungui’s contract with Brighton & Hove Albion is about to expire, so he’s set to join the Eredivisie side as a free agent.

The defender had already left the Seagulls in January, when joining Belgian side Lommel on a loan, and now seems to have agreed his permanent departure from the Premier League side.

With Tsoungui still in need of experience, 1908 claims that Feyenoord should first loan him out to FC Dordrecht and let him get more playing time there.

The defender had joined Brighton in a move from Chelsea’s academy back in 2018. In the four and a half years he spent with the Seagulls, he only made one appearance, which was in the 2021/22 EFL Cup tie against Cardiff City.

1908 had already reported Feyenoord’s interest in Tsoungui before, and now comes up to confirm the deal. According to their story, he’ll soon be flying to sign his contract with the Dutch side.
