Emre Can to Juventus continues to rumble on in Turin newspaper Tuttosport.

In an article looking at the club’s upcoming transfer ‘revolution’, the Liverpool midfielder’s situation is gone over once again. It is now a question of ‘days, perhaps hours’ for Can to give his decision, but it’s felt like that for months.

If Juventus can pull off the Liverpool free transfer then Tuttosport believe it will be a ‘golden’ move for the club. Can to Juve is given a 65% chance of happening, which seems quite low.

Not so long ago the move was seen as almost certain, and with Tuttosport saying Matteo Darmian to Juve is 90% on, giving Can 65% shows how the feeling has changed.

One very curious aspect of all of this is the Italian media continually saying Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are the other clubs in the running, but the German and Spanish media both almost entirely ignoring that.

If Can was really on the verge of signing for either Madrid or Bayern then it would be very surprising if the clubs’ local media didn’t even have a sniff of it and weren’t interested.

A Liverpool stay isn’t really seen as a possibility in Italy, but the longer this all drags on the stranger it feels. Can is injured so it’s not as though announcing a Juve transfer would see Jurgen Klopp drop him.

Perhaps the midfielder is keeping Juventus on the back burner as he considers another, much more controversial, move and one he’d want to keep secret until he’s safely away from Anfield.
