Crystal Palace, Southampton and West Ham have all ‘enquired’ about Juventus youngster Koni de Winter ahead of the January transfer window.

That’s according to Tutto Juve, who say his performances on loan at Empoli have not gone unnoticed by the Premier League trio.

They explain that a low-grade injury to his left hamstring ‘somewhat slowed’ the rise of the defender this season, who after an intermittent start to the season had been a regular at Empoli.

That saw him miss out on Belgium’s squad for the World Cup, but he is ‘working hard’ to make up for lost time and establish himself further under Paolo Zanetti.

He is also likely to be a part of Belgium’s future, with a change at the back anticipated for the country following the World Cup and heading into qualifiers for the European Championships.

In the meantime, ‘the eyes of foreign clubs’ are on him as his performances have not gone unnoticed, particularly in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace, Southampton and West Ham have ‘already enquired’ about him but found Juventus unwilling to sell for the time being.

They don’t want to lose the young talent just yet and could value him at around €15-20m if he continues to do well once the season resumes after the World Cup.

More impressive performances can help the player to add value and continue his development and the player still dreams of wearing the Bianconeri shirt in future.

That means a move to either Crystal Palace, Southampton or West Ham doesn’t appear to be on the cards for now, but they are very much interested in the player.
