Antonio Conte’s arrival at Tottenham could spell bad news for Juventus, with their former coach ready to scupper plans to sign Dusan Vlahovic and Alessio Romagnoli.

That’s according to TuttoJuve 24, who say Tottenham are ready to spend big to get both players and satisfy Conte’s demands in the transfer market.

They explain that Juventus have been working hard to get Vlahovic for a while, but Tottenham could ‘blow up all the work done so far’ by the club’s management, with Conte wanting efforts for both players ‘immediately’.

Spurs can put the ‘necessary money’ on the table to change the striker’s mind and convince his club, Fiorentina, who were reluctant to sell to Juventus in the first place.

Indeed, they can even afford to do a deal in the January transfer market, something the Italian side will sanction if the offer is ‘immediately adequate’.

The ‘other mockery’ would then be a move for Romagnoli. His contract at AC Milan expires next June, and there won’t be any talks between his agent Mino Raiola and the club on an extension.

He’d been thinking about a move to Juventus for a while, but Tottenham ‘could change the player’s plans’ as Conte is a big fan of the centre-back and Spurs have the ‘economic power’ to put Juve out of the game.

Milan want Romagnoli to halve his current contract, but that’s not feasible for him, and the suggestion is that Tottenham would come in and offer a wage packet far superior to what Juventus can put on the table.

Of course, he’d have to agree to the move, and it’s the same with Vlahovic, but with Conte at the helm, Tottenham now ‘represents a danger’ for Juventus and their plans for both.
