Fanatik claim Besiktas are working hard to sign Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini next month.

The Turkish newspaper believe Besiktas have made the first contact with Fellaini’s representatives, and are hoping to take advantage of his contract situation with Manchester United.

Fanatik say Besiktas president Fikret Orman wants to reach an agreement with Fellaini first and then he will start talking to Manchester United with regards to a January deal.

The Belgian international has yet to sign a new deal with Manchester United despite Jose Mourino’s wishes, and there’s a possibility he’ll leave the club on a free transfer next summer.

Next month the Turkish champions will be able to speak to the Manchester United midfielder about a pre contract agreement, and they’ll be hoping to convince the Belgian on a move to Istanbul.

Fellaini has been ruled out of the Christmas period due to a knee injury, with his last game coming against Brighton in November.
