Fanatik report Trabzonspor’ coaching staff haven’t been impressed with Leeds United loanee Caleb Ekuban so far this season.

The 24-year old joined Trabzonspor on loan during the closing stages of the last summer transfer window but the Turkish media outlet say the club’s manager Unal Karaman isn’t pleased with what he’s seen from the Leeds United man.

According to Fanatik, the Trabzonspor board currently are not ready to make Ekuban’s move permanent and they’ll wait until the end of the season to evaluate if he’ll remain at the club.

With Trazbonspor reportedly having a €200k right of redemption it seems unlikely at this stage they’ll activate this.

Ekuban has only played 7 games for the Super Lig club since his arrival and his only goal came against Galatasaray on his debut.

However, the Leeds United player may get more chances in the coming weeks with star striker Burak Yilmaz being left out of the team in recent matches.
