A supposed Arsenal and Liverpool chase for yet another Bundesliga talent gets an update from the German media.

Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg is the one bringing some fresh news about the battle for 22-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt defender Willian Pacho

The reporter claims that Arsenal and Liverpool are ‘still’ interested in Pacho, having both made contact about signing him. Frankfurt are said to be aware of that contact, and already set a price for a potential sale.

It’s said that the Bundesliga side would let the centre-back leave in the summer in case someone pays between €50m and €60m for him. He’s labelled a ‘key player’ for the German club, and it’s unlikely they’d make big discounts for him. Plus they have him well protected with a contract which runs until 2028.

For now, it’s unclear whether Arsenal or Liverpool are keen on reaching that amount for Pacho, even though both clubs have been said to be interested in him for a while now. Frankfurt only paid €9m to sign him last summer, and could be making a quick big profit with his sale.
