Fanatik report Fenerbahçe will hold talks with Arsenal over the signing of goalkeeper David Ospina this summer. The Turkish giants are looking for someone to compete with 35-year old club captain Volkan Demirel, with loanee Fabiano set to leave the club at the end of the season.

Fanatik are claiming Fenerbahçe have already agreed personal terms with Ospina, and his representatives now have to convince Arsenal to sell the player. Fenerbahçe are looking to offer the Premier League side €3m for the Colombian international.

The Arsenal No.2 is reportedly unhappy with his opportunities at Arsenal and is looking for more first team football next season because of the 2018 World Cup. The South American has hardly featured in the Premier League this season under Arsene Wenger.

Fenerbahçe’s board are confident of signing Opsina after initially agreeing terms with the Arsenal player.

The Turkish side want to get the deal done quickly with Arsenal as the believe there will be competition from other clubs in the next window.

Arsenal will probably feel they can get more than €3m for the player.
