Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen continues to attract interest from several clubs in Italy.

Now, according to Firenze Viola, it’s Fiorentina who are said to be following the 33-year-old.

It’s claimed that the Serie A side may lose a couple of defenders in the summer, and see Vertonghen as the perfect type of player they want to bring to the squad.

But it won’t be an easy job for La Viola, since the competition is pretty heavy. The website claims that Inter Milan and Roma are two other Italian sides who’d like to sign him as well.

Vertonghen’s contract with Tottenham expires this summer, and that’s why Italian clubs are so confident they could sign him by only making a good salary offer.

Despite being on the verge of leaving the club, Vertonghen continues to get regular minutes under José Mourinho, having made 26 appearances for the London side this season so far.
