On Wednesday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported AC Milan are quickly pushing to get a deal done for Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

This is backed up by Milan News, who then provide more updates on the Serie A side’s desire to buy the midfielder in the summer.

After sorting out Daichi Kamada’s arrival for free, the Rossoneri will try to agree a deal with Chelsea for the 27-year-old.

There’s still distance between supply and demand, but Loftus-Cheek remains on top of Milan’s list, after Ismaël Bennacer suffered a long-term injury.

It’s stated the England international has reached an agreement in principle with Stefano Pioli’s side. Milan will have to sort out a deal with Chelsea and there’s belief an agreement could be reached for €15m plus bonuses.

The Italian club have a good relationship with the Blues and the two clubs are in talks for the player’s transfer. They are trying to understand whether or not they can seal the deal.

Milan are ‘raising the pressure’ to bring Loftus-Cheek to the San Siro in the next window. After the midfielder gave his approval for the transfer, it’s now down to Milan to find an agreement with Chelsea.
