Fanatik claim Besiktas have identified West Bromwich Albion winger Matt Phillips as a transfer target.
This summer Besiktas are in the market for wingers with Ricardo Quaresma and Jeremain Lens expected to leave the Turkish club, and Fanatik reports Phillips is now an option for the Black Eagles.
It’s reported Besiktas manager Abdullah Avci is keen to work with the West Brom player and the club’s board are considering making an offer for the 28 year old.
According to Fanatik, Phillips’ chances featuring in Slaven Bilic’s side next season are slim and the Super Lig side are looking to take advantage of the situation.
The Istanbul club are ready to offer €2.5m to West Brom to sign the player and it’s reported Phillips is also keen to open a new chapter in his career.
Last season the attacker made 32 appearances in the Championship and scored five goals. He is under contract at the Hawthorns until June 2020.
