Che Adams’ contract at Southampton ran out at the end of the 2023/24 season.
The Scotsman then joined Torino on a free transfer and started his stint in some style, scoring three league goals in the first six Serie A games.
Despite a barren spell of form, he now has eight league goals and in all competitions, he has found the back of the net nine times.
TuttoSport have looked at the impact he has made after an exit from Southampton, stating that he is ‘one of the untouchables’ at Torino.
The move to land him is seen as a piece of ‘important intuition’ from club sporting director Davide Vagnati. Because of his goalscoring abilities, Adams’ value is now €15m.
There is quite a bit of satisfaction in Turin about that, because the Scotland international arrived on a free transfer. His value could yet grow further, depending on how he performs.
The report mentions that while Torino wanted a striker in the January transfer window and they failed at getting one, Adams’ form is making sure that they do not feel the need for another forward.
Instead, they plan to build an attack that revolves around the ex-Southampton man.
