Wilfried Gnonto has had a good season at Leeds United so far.
The Italian has scored five times and has five assists in the Championship, while playing 33 times for the Whites.
He has been an important part of the side since his arrival from Zurich in the summer of 2022, but it seems as if attempts are being made to take the winger away from Leeds United.
InterLive have reported that the 21-year-old’s agents are ‘ready to propose’ him to Inter Milan for a summer transfer.
The report states that while Gnonto is happy at Leeds United, he would struggle to turn down the opportunity to return to Italy.
It’s said he’s currently valued at €15m, which Leeds United may feel differently about, and his entourage are aware that Inter’s attack will undergo some changes in the summer. They want to take advantage of that, especially with the Italy international having spent eight years in the Nerazzurri’s youth setup.
While the player’s agents are keen on making sure that a transfer goes through, the outlet is confident that Inter are not as keen on Gnonto.
As of now, they are focused on other targets but the youngster could become an opportunity if they fail in other moves.
