Atlético Nacional president Juan Carlos De la Cuesta has confirmed that the club has an agreement for the transfer of Marlos Moreno to Manchester City.

On Wednesday evening, before the first leg of Copa Libertadores’ final, the official told reporters:

“We have an agreement, but they are still obviously waiting for the Copa Libertadores to finish so they can do all the formalities and announce him officially,” (via Depor).

According to the rumours, Moreno would join City for about €11m, being one of the highest sales of Colombian football.

It’s also said that the 19-year-old could be loaned to Deportivo La Coruña, since he wouldn’t get enough games under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

Independiente and Atlético Nacional drew 1-1 last night. The final will be decided in Colombia next Wednesday, with Marlos Moreno’s team only needing a win to be the South American champions.
