Fotomac claim Galatasaray are to offer Henry Onyekuru a significant increase in his current wage in order to convince him to stay at the club next season.

In recent days there have been reports in Turkey that Galatasaray manager Faith Terim wants to keep the Everton loanee after some impressive performances.

The Turkish newspaper reports Galatasaray officials have opened talks with Everton to land Onyekuru for another season, and the Turkish club are prepared to double the 21 year old’s yearly wage.

It’s reported Onyekuru would earn €2.6m from Galatasaray if they can get an agreement with the Premier League club. The youngster reportedly earns €1.3m with Everton.

The player’s future with the Toffees is likely to depend on him being granted a work permit to play in England. Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have all been linked with the player in recent months.

Onyekuru has scored 15 goals for Galatasaray this season which has helped the Istanbul club top the Super Lig table with three games left.
