AS Roma have been trying to offload Justin Kluivert in the summer window and Fulham have been credited with interest in him.

Four days ago, Corriere della Sera reported the London club and the Serie A side have not managed to find an agreement over the transfer formula.

The Giallorossi want to sell the winger, while Fulham are intent on taking him on loan. The disagreement between the two clubs seems to have been resolved if today’s report from Romagiallorossa.it is to be believed.

Having frozen the negotiations for several days, the two clubs started talks again for the former Ajax man. The negotiations between the Premier League club and José Mourinho’s side are progressing well and there doesn’t seem to be ‘any hitches whatsoever’.

It’s claimed Roma are now ‘one step away from selling’ the player to Fulham after the two clubs would have ‘found an agreement’ for his sale. The deal will cost Marco Silva’s side €11m [€9m plus €2m] including bonuses.

The report states the ‘definitive closure of the negotiations is expected in the next few hours’. After that, Kluivert will receive the green light to carry out medical tests and sign the contract with Fulham.
