Fanatik claim Galatasaray will send two officials to England with the objective to finalise a deal for Manchester City defender Jason Denayer., following recent interest from Leeds United.

It’s claimed apart from the Turkish side and Leeds United, no other clubs have made any offers for Denayer which gives Galatasaray an advantage given the Belgian international wants a return to Istanbul.

The Turkish newspaper report Denayer wants to join Galatasaray and Manchester City’s hand is getting weaker with the English transfer window set to close tomorrow evening.

According to Fanatik, Manchester City are looking to sell Denayer permanently, but Galatasaray are only willing to make a loan offer.

Earlier this week it was reported the Manchester City player had rejected an offer from Leeds United because he wants to play for Galatasaray again.

The Championship side’s interest in Denayer is questionable and seems to have started from opinion articles, which then filtered into the Turkish media.

This hasn’t stopped a number of media outlets in Turkey pushing Leeds United links with the Belgian.
