Celta Vigo have met with Wolverhampton Wanderers outcast Jonny Otto’s agents and promised to make a move for him this month.

That’s according to Tenias Que Haber Tirado, a Celta Vigo podcast, with their information relayed by Moi Celeste.

Reports in England have linked Otto with a move away from Wolves this month, with it explained those in charge at Molineux have put him up for sale.

The defender is currently suspended by the club after an incident that in training that reportedly saw him attack a youth player, spit at a coach and break a television during a video session.

He is, for all intents and purposes, out of the club and that’s led Celta Vigo to look at a move for him in this window.

TQHT report that the Spanish club have already met with the footballer’s agents to demonstrate their interest in a possible transfer and the Spanish club told them they would make an offer when Agustín Marchesín departed.

That has now happened, with the goalkeeper joining Gremio on a free transfer two days ago and so a bid is now expected. As of today, though, no formal offer has been made for the Wolves man.

Otto is very much a possible target despite that, and the club’s fans are keen to see a deal done for their former player, who left for Atletico Madrid in 2018.
