Fanatik claim Galatasaray are to make a stance over the possible departure of Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru after the Nigerian was linked with a move to Valencia.

The Everton attacker recently joined the Istanbul club on loan for the season due to his continuing work permit problems in England.

In recent days there have been claims Valencia are keen to sign Onyekuru and that they want Everton to cancel his loan deal with Galatasaray, so he can join them.

Despite Valencia’s wishes, Fanatik say Galatasaray are not looking to let Onyekuru leave, as they’ve been impressed with his preseason form.

It’s reported Everton haven’t yet contacted Galatasaray regarding Onyekuru but the Turkish club would be looking for €5m compensation from Valencia if he did head to Spain. They’d also request the loan fee back from the Premier League club.

The youngster heading to Valencia seems unlikely at the moment, but Galatasaray are ready for the worst-case scenario.
