Following Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s impressive season with Lazio, it’s inevitable that he’s been heavily linked with a transfer to Juventus, who’ve been the biggest predators in Serie A’s transfer market in the past few years.

The Old Lady, however, aren’t alone in the race for the 27-year-old, who’s also said to have been drawing interest from the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain as well.

And as Turin newspaper Tuttosport today writes about Juventus’ chase for a new midfielder, they end up admitting that the Bianconeri may not be able to compete for the signing of Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

According to the outlet, the Italian giants ‘know very well’ that in case Manchester United and PSG ‘put an important offer’ on the table, then it’d be ‘impossible’ to fight them in this battle.

It’s said that for Juventus to land Milinkovic-Savic, that’d only be possible in case the Red Devils or the French side ‘retreat’ in the chase for him.

It turns out that giving up on this chase isn’t something the Bianconeri would like to do, as they appreciate the midfielder’s seven years in Italian football, which should ‘not be thrown away like this’.

But with money being the most important asset in the transfer market, Manchester United and PSG are still the favourites to land the Serbia international.
