Since Tanguy Ndombele returned to Tottenham Hotspur from his loan at Lyon this summer, we’ve seen all kinds of reports about his future.

A few clubs were said to be interested in signing the 25-year-old, but his stay at Spurs was not ruled out, as the French media also claimed he could be of some use to Antonio Conte in a season where they’ll play in the Champions League.

As Foot Mercato now features a story on Ndombele, they point out that Tottenham are still to be contacted by the clubs who’d like to land him this summer.

They confirm that Marseille, as recently reported, are indeed ‘very interested’ in signing the midfielder. However, the Ligue 1 side have not contacted Spurs or the player’s representatives so far.

Foot Mercato claims other clubs such as Napoli, AC Milan, Villarreal and Bayer Leverkusen are ‘also in the running’, but they haven’t taken action either.

So even though Tottenham may get interesting offers to let Ndombele go this summer, all of his admirers seem to be waiting for something until they actually place their bids for the move.
