Earleir today, we covered a report from Spanish newspaper AS, who claimed Chelsea star Eden Hazard is a main target for Real Madrid, either in January or next summer.

However, Spanish radio station COPE claims otherwise as they report the Champions League winners are not thinking about the west London club’s player.

Instead, the La Liga club’s president, Florentino Perez has two targets in his minds for the next season and they are Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar and Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur

Journalist Paco González tells COPE that the Dane is set to replace Luka Modric at the club.

The Croatian, 33, moved to Santiago Bernabeu from Spurs in 2012 and the report does not mention whether the former Ajax man is identified as a replacement for Modric after the end of the season.

Eriksen has less than two years left on his contract at the north London club and if he decides against signing an extension, it could clearly play into the hands of Real Madrid, if they are serious about securing his services.
