Lucas Moura is perhaps the Tottenham Hotspur player who talks the most to the media.

The Brazilian is constantly having chats with the media in his home country and speaks on a range of things. When it comes to transfer talk, his comments are usually related to returning to a club in Brazil, however, that’s usually related to later in his career as the Spurs player believes he still has something to offer to European football.

Having missed most of this season due to injury, the 30-year-old will face a battle to get into Antonio Conte’s side. During the last campaign he was a bit part player under the Italian manager and there were rumours he could have left in the last window.

Looking ahead to January, Lucas Moura has been asked to comment on rumours linking him with a move to Sevilla. Footballers usually sit on the fence when asked such things, but he was happy to flirt over the idea of a move to Sevilla and a transfer to La Liga generally.

VamosMiSevilla quote him as saying: “I didn’t know about Sevilla’s interest, but it’s a club that I like and a city that they speak very highly of. Playing in La Liga would be something fantastic for me, because I like it a lot.”

Should Sevilla make a move then it’s almost certain they’d be looking for an initial loan, Tottenham would likely prefer to part ways permanently, given the player’s contract runs out in 2024.
