According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fulham forward Ryan Babel will replace Henry Onyekuru at Galatasaray this summer.
Babel will be out of contract with Fulham at the end of the season whilst Onyekuru is expected to return to his parent club Everton following his loan spell with Gala.
Sabah today report Babel has agreed a €2.5m a season deal with Galatasaray after claims surfaced in the Turkish media last week he would be joining the club.
With Fulham’s relegation confirmed to the Championship the Netherlands international will move on this summer, just months after arriving at Craven Cottage.
It’s expected Babel will be a direct replacement for Onyekuru, who has struggled in recent weeks with the Istanbul club. For the majority of the season the Everton owned player has impressed in the Super Lig but recently he’s been accused of being selfish by the Turkish press.
At the weekend the youngster received whistles from his own fans and it now seems unlikely Galatasaray will hold talks with Everton over extending his stay in Istanbul.
