One of the big worries at Inter these days is the question mark surrounding the future of Milan Skriniar at the club.

With a contract expiring in June of next year, he would be a prime target for clubs to try and either get him on a free for next summer or make an offer to get him in January.

The belief is that Paris Saint-Germain could do the latter to tempt Inter, meaning a reinforcement would be needed, like Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu.

The Foxes defender has barely been used by Brendan Rodgers since the start of the campaign, and he is in a similar situation to Skriniar.

His contract at Leicester expires at the end of the season, meaning that this January is the last time the King Power Stadium club could make some money from a sale.

Gazzetta dello Sport are the ones suggesting this, claiming he is one of the people being looked at by Inter, alongside Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.

For the Turkey international, who is ‘practically out of the squad’, the ‘only solution in this case would be a definitive purchase’.

To get the price as low as possible, Inter would then use both his contract situation at Leicester and his minimal game time in the negotiations.

Something to keep an eye on.
