Earlier on Monday, we covered claims in Germany that a deal between Robin Koch and Eintracht Frankfurt was nearly done, further confirming that the player will not be returning to Leeds.

The talks were said to be in their final phase, meaning his time at Elland Road was close to finally coming to an end, and now Bild have an update of their own, stating the ‘wish has become a fact’.

They explain the defender will be signing a three-year contract with the Bundesliga side, keeping him there until 2027, and joining on a free transfer from Leeds United.

In fact, Eintracht ‘will announce’ the deal for him to permanently arrive from Elland Road ‘this week’.

Bild explain that the deal struck was an ideal one for all involved at the time, and a ‘clever’ one for the Bundesliga side.

His performances since his arrival have been ‘more than worth it’, both for the player and the team, since he has caught the eye of Julian Nagelsmann ahead of next season’s Euros, which was exactly why Koch wanted to leave Leeds in the first place.

In short, if Koch keeps playing this way, he will be a part of the Germany national team, as well as playing at a club where he has completely settled.
