At this point in time, Leeds United have a very big fan in their end, and that’s Juventus in Italy.

The reason for this, as you might have guessed, revolves around Weston McKennie and the fact he is currently on loan at Elland Road until the end of the season.

There is an option to buy in said deal, and yet it’s clear that if Leeds were to drop down to the Championship, that wouldn’t be exercised, which is why Calciomercato make it clear that Juventus are hoping for Javi Gracia to save the Whites.

In fact, the website go one further than that, and state the Serie A giants are ‘dreaming’ of their Yorkshire counterparts avoiding relegation because they have so much riding on it.

Right now, there is only just one point between Leeds and the bottom three in the Premier League, and that’s all the difference needed for Juventus to keep their hopes up.

They know that a relegation would mean the chances of McKennie being bought ‘would be significantly reduced’, especially when the pre-agreed price is of €34.5m + €4.5m in bonuses.

Therefore, Juventus will be watching every Leeds result with great hope that Gracia can extract a few more points from the upcoming fixtures.
