Manchester City are no stranger to the Turkish transfer market, after they have signed Enes Unal from Bursaspor for a reported €2m fee in 2014. The Premier League side have since sold the player for a big profit to Villarreal, but have a buyback option on the forward.

A few weeks ago Manchester City also came very close to signing Cengiz Under from Basaksehir, after tabling a bid for the Turkey international, before eventually losing out to AS Roma.
