Club aware of Man City interest in two of their players – Meeting could be held this week

A couple of weeks ago, we covered outlet Bola Vip breaking the news about Manchester City interest in two Boca Juniors youngsters.

It was claimed Pep Guardiola side are keen on the signings of Exequiel Zebalos and Valentin Barco, and even asked for a meeting to discuss potential transfers.

Now Olé, the biggest sports newspaper in Argentina, comes up with a story to back up the information.

According to their piece, Boca Juniors are aware that Manchester City have been using scouts from the City Group to keep an eye on the youngsters.

Olé claims that Manchester City could even advance for the signings if case there’s a meeting this week.

The players recently renewed their contracts with Boca Juniors, and it turns out both are protected by identical release clauses, worth €15m each.

Manchester City have already completed the signing of Julian Alvarez from River Plate, and besides the chase for the two Boca Juniors youngsters, they’re also linked to Velez Sarsfield’s Maximo Perrone.
