Bought from Juventus for a big fee, Moise Kean hasn’t had the desired impact at Everton, but there’s still time for all that to change.

It seems Carlo Ancelotti still wants to give the forward some game time and trusts he’ll eventually develop into the player many expect him to become once he’s settled in.

But, and it’s a big one, with a change of manager at Juventus, with Andrea Pirlo now at the helm, there’s the idea the youngster could make a big return to his former club.

That’s what Gazzetta dello Sport hint at on Thursday, explaining the Turin club are ‘looking for a young forward’ capable of ‘substituting the starters’.

They then follow that up by stating ‘the right name could be that of Moise Kean’.

If he were to return, it would be as a loan, and the ‘main way would be to exchange a player to send to England’, meaning Everton would get someone else on a temporary deal from Juventus instead.

To that regard, Gazzetta make it clear the Serie A champions are ‘already at work’.
